Rated5out of5byMatt_OzfromLightest PillowI have been using one of these for a couple of years now.
It lives in my down jacket pocket.
When packing my jacket I use it like a regular stuff sack.
Then I wear the jacket and put the sack back in my pocket.
When It is time to get into my sleeping bag, I turn the sack inside out and stuff in my down jacket. Now I have a mouldable down pillow, Awesome!
From experience this best way to use it.
I don't recommend trying to fill it with the exactly right amount of clothes on the trail, find one jacket that works stick to that. Also, I keep the pockets of my jacket empty of hard stuff, keys and phones don't make good pillows : )

Rated4out of5byItsBetterOutsidefromBest pillow solution for backpackingThis is a great product. Double use items are a necessity when trying to save weight. One issue: for warm weather camping, filling the bag can be an issue (as I don't take that many extra clothes with me). Another minor nit to pick: the bag is double walled... i.e. two separate fabrics, the silnylon outside and fleece inside. This adds some extra weight. It'd be nice if they can figure out a way to adhere thin fleece to the inside of the silnylon to save some weight. Overall VERY pleased.

Rated5out of5byNatron-reviewerfromI use this pillow all the timeIt works great as a camp pillow, whether backpacking or car camping. Don't drive around with a big pillow, or worse, forget your pillow at home. Instead leave this will your camping gear and you always have a pillow.
Lighter, takes less space, and more comfortable than a compact pillow, so this is one you want.
But it's a joke to buy it as a stuff sack, because then you'd need to find a place for the "stuff" you were carrying around in it as you sleep. But it works great as a pillow, so just don't get distracted by thinking it's a stuff sack.
I recommend filling it with a fleece, as that's the most comfortable filler, and you would bring a fleece with you anyways when camping. Other types of clothes are often too flat, but can work in a pinch.
This is the pillow you want.
