The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Rated4out of5byNothingheadfromDoesn't fit barn door SUVsI bought this with my 20% coupon and was a bit surprised with how heavy this is. It seems to be built fairly sturdily but in a 2" receiver, wobbled a bit. I went with the tray style rack to get away from wobble in other styles at the recommendation of many bike shops. Once installed, however, I also learned that it sticks too far up to clear the rear barn door on my Lexus GX470. I wonder if the same problem is encountered on other barn door SUVs (eg. Rav4, Discovery, Montero).
In the end, I returned it for the swing daddy and hope it doesn't sway around too much when locked down.
This looks to be a well built rack for your smaller SUV or sedan with 1 1/2' receiver and hatch back. Drop down tail gaits, barn doors and bigger trucks with 2" receivers might look elsewhere.

Rated3out of5bydahutfromOnly good for short haulsI've had this for 2+ years. The rack itself is pretty good and easy to use, although on my Honda Civic I have to watch groundclearance. The hitch will scratch the ground entering some driveways.
The problem is that the method of securing bikes requires the use of plastic straps that degrade over the course of 6-9 months. I've had to replace all of them multiple times. The doohickey that the bikes rest on and the straps attach to is made of plastic. These are becoming loose with wear. This is a problem when driving on the highway. I need to use bungie cords to ensure the bikes don't shift and end up horizontal. The rear doohicky is the big problem it's only one small arm that keeps the bike from going horizontal as the wind pushes it. I wouldn't recommend this rack until the parts are upgraded to be more durable.

Rated4out of5byNoPistnsfromGood value for the moneyThis replaced a Yakima Double down Ace that sacrificed itself in an accident. I chose this rack because it is easy to load. It's almost as easy to install as my old one, but it does require a wrench. This is very easy to load, the racheting wheel straps are much easier than other styles. It holds both my hybrid bike and my old and heavy mountain bike very well. It's weight and size make it a challenge to move around the garage when not on the car, but that's about the only negative.

Rated4out of5bymwonealfromExcellent Entry Level Hitch-RackI bought this rack to carry my hard tail 29er to and from trail heads. I've been very pleased with it so far. It functions and installs exactly as indicated in the manual. I have it on my GMC Envoy, and can tilt it back w/ bikes loaded and access the glass hatch.
My 22" frame 29er is about the largest bicycle the Stick-up will carry. The top tube hook will only 'click' down the first one or two positions, but it holds the bike securely.
The carrier does rock about a bit in the receiver, but I don't see how it wouldn't given the design. It's nothing concerning if you're expecting it.

Rated5out of5byKBraefromAwesome!I was worried that it wouldn't hold my small women's bikes firmly, but it works perfectly! Fits everything from the tallest men's mountain bike to my women's mountain bike with a low bar. Holds the bikes firmly with no additional straps needed. Easy to load the bikes and easy to fold up/down when you don't need it. Only takes about 2 minutes to take the entire hitch on/off the vehicle.

Rated4out of5byKchan021fromDoes the job with minor glitchesOverall, I'm satisfied with this rack. I bought it for my 2013 Subaru Outback and it does what I need it to do. I bought 2 Master locks to lock the bike, to lock the hitch and the rack itself. I've been using it since July 30 and drove 4 hours round trip, and its holding steady
1.) Won't hold women's bikes or bikes with a low top tube. Fixed it by wrapping a chain around the arm and the bike frame
2.) My first hitch rack, and it wobbles. However, the rack hasn't fallen off yet and I dont expect it to. I read around that this is normal for a lot of hitch racks
3.) Slightly annoying, but when folded up, I find the arms can swing freely, which means it can hit your car. I fixed the issue by tying bungee cords around the arms so it can hold its place.

Rated5out of5bysharifromGreat Rack!Great bike rack, wanted something easy to install that doesn't block access to the liftgate on our Terrain, needed a girls bike adaptor to secure my TOWNEE - otherwise love this rack.

Rated5out of5byezikiel12fromGreat RackThis hitch rack was a gift and I've used it quite a few times now and am still loving it. Though the rack did require assembly, Yakima's instructions were flawless and everything went together easily.
Compared to other racks I've used in the past, the hitch came with the 2" adapter pre-installed and it fit snugly in the receiver and tightened easily using the included wrench (though a ratchet is much faster). The rack rides extremely stable and holds the bikes snugly.
For mountain bikes with tires much wider than 2.25" (especially with aggressive tread) you may have trouble getting the front wheel to sit snugly into the wire holder, though the back wheel tray seems to be no problem.
