These are my primary hiking shoes. The traction is better than any hiking shoe I have ever worn. I am wearing my second pair now. The first pair lasted about twice as long as other hiking shoes I have worn. I wear them for hikes of all lengths and difficulties. I wear other shoes that are water proof when hiking in the rain or soft snow, but otherwise I wear these in all conditions, on trail and off.
I wear a size and a half larger in this shoe than my foot measures. That is normal for me in a hiking shoe.

Best combination of good looking, durable, adventure worthy, hiking/running shoe ever. Used for campouts, trail running, biking, rec soccer and going out. Looks sleek - regularly gets positive comments for style.
Also surprisingling good fit that provides support and comfort, yet easy to slip on. Drawstring laces are super easy to use, but have the feel of teflon and provide usage confidence.
Have worn mountain day hiking, on international business and pleasure travel, and for soccer/flag football games. Never had an issue on terrain - a bit slick on indoor or smooth concrete surfaces at first due to unique tread. However, I only use when I need surface traction, so not a problem. And look great with jeans or shorts.
Only complaint is they start to catch an odor over time as the material doesn't breathe as well as it appears it should given the fabric exterior around the toes. However, no sneaker is perfect and some talcum powder freshens them up fine.
Highly recommended as the ultimate utility shoe.

Fantastic trail and general running shoe. Great on dirt trails and mixed terrain, maybe even better on paved trails. Very comfortable and supportive. The tread grips well on uneven rocky track, but is surprisingly cushioning on paved roads. The lacing is fast, easy and secure. My only complaint is that its not obvious what to do with the extra lacing after you cinch up the shoes. Added bonus: they look great with jeans. I've received more compliments on these shoes than all my other shoes combined.

Just returned from 4 days in the Canyon. Remarkable shoe!The light weight was a huge help in minimizing leg fatigue. I am 66 yrs old and kept up with my younger friends,for the most part,Not one slide even on the most loose gravel and steepest slope.After 4 days the little rubber projections were still in tact and no signs of wear at all.I concur with all the great reviews of this shoe. Will use my dividends to get a second pair before they are discontinued or" Upgraded"

I bought these strickly for trail running but found the traction good for climbing the rocky ridges and summit trails of Hawaii. They have replaced my hiking boots because they are so light weight that my feet don't get as tired or hot at the end of the day, rocks don't get in and my feet have stayed dry even sliding and crawling around in the mud. I credit them with extending my life recently when I got off the trail and deadended on a cliff high above Waimanalo knowing it was climb or die trying... These guys were like claws and up I went on what you might call a vertical trail sprint.
