    The REI Member Dividend

The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.

Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.

Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Rated5out of5byfromThese are great!I use these on my Subaru Forester, primarily with my Eddyline 17.5, but also with 2 other sea kayaks and a few SITs. They are the best! I am able to load my Nighthawk easily and safely, and transport it the same way - safely.. I put a piece of thin foam between the bar and the clamp and the rollers have never rolled on the bar at all. The bar is slick and they will roll if you don't do that, or something similar. Once done, no problems at all. These make loading and unloading a breeze - for one person. And my kevlar Eddyline has never had any problems - wonder if folks are tightening the straps too tight? Snug is just fine. Great product!

Rated1out of5byfromAwful for Hard Chine FiberglassI own hard-chined fiberglass kayaks, so I am not sure about plastic, wide-body, stable boats. Tried using with Mako saddles but only used the set-up twice and had to change to other configuration (Landshark saddles). Set up the rollers in several spacings, angles, etc. to see which one worked best - none of them gave me any warm fuzzies that my boat was secure. Maybe a good choice for a wide-body plastic boat, but if your kayak is a hard-chined fiberglass model, it's worthless. Even with locks unlocked, the rollers don't turn when loading a fiberglass boat and they DO NOT cradle the boat at all (boat must sort of sit on top of the rollers for them to function. If you load the boat between the two rolling pieces, securing the tie-downs can cause the boat to slip down onto the flat bar (if you use them, make sure you pad the bar between them!!!) = NO STABLE SUPPORT! I cringed each time I tied the boat down, worrying if all was secure. Mako saddles were same with hard chine - very poor support as they do not flex enough to cradle the hull. Ditched all and went with Land Shark saddles which gave me the hard-chine support I was looking for. Would not recommend this to anyone with a hard-chine or fiberglass boat - don't waste your time.

Rated5out of5byfromhully rollers rock! (and roll)After reading some reviews warning that the mounts rotated even after tightening them as much as possible, I was hesitant to purchase hully rollers, but I'm glad I finally did. After mounting them, it turned out my (round) cross bars were rotating, not the roller mounts themselves. I tightened the cross bars through the tower mounts, and all was well. I paired the hully rollers with mako saddles, and they make loading my 55 lb yak totally manageable by myself. Well done, Yakima!

Rated4out of5byfromThere's an easy fix for rotation problemI'm really pleased. I mounted these on the rear crossbar with the Mako Saddles on the front and the 65lb boat is incredibly easy to get on and off the roof of the truck, and I'm a small guy. For those who have had a problem with the mounts rotating on the round bars I found a simple solution. I cut a strip of thin foam rubber and placed it between the mount and the crossbar. I used 3M weatherstripping for behind a home wall switch plate, but anything compressible that adds a touch of thickness and increases friction will do. Voila! No rotation at all.
