by fromNice Design I like them very much. The design is great, especially the toe cap, however they do tend to get smelly

by fromMe Love Keens I have been an enthusiastic fan of Keens since 2005. I currently own six pairs and I have thrown out two pairs of sandals that wore out. For awhile, I was thinking I'd never wear any other brand of shoe. After all, with their Calistoga-Mary-Jane line, you can look like you're working. The best thing about Keens was that they were comfortable from the first step and they stay comfortable. Back when I first 'met' Keens, I weighed 100+ more pounds than I do now. My feet were large, size 12, and I had a hard time finding comfortable shoes that fit me. My first pair of Keens were male sandals but, hey, they fit and I was desparate for shoes. Now, I am back down to size eleven and I have lots of shoe choice. I might not buy any more Keens. I like Earth Shoes, Naot, Ecco, Merrell. True, the Keens are cheaper. . . but you know what? They wear out extremely fast. I think if you are someone who doesn't actually do a lot of walking, like most Americans, like you get in your car and drive from door to door. . . maybe a pair of Keens would last you a long time. But I don't own a car and I walk quite a lot, at least five miles daily. A pair of Keens don't last more than a few weeks of daily, five-mile walking. The soles wear down super fast. At first, I reasoned that replacing a walking shoe once a month, for someone who easily walks 150 miles a month. . . that's not bad. . . but then I began to notice that the other shoe brands, um, don't wear out so fast. It seems like quite a waste, that the heels wear down so quickly.I don't think I'll buy anymore Keen sandals. . . but I will always buy their Mary Jane styles to be my 'dress' shoes.

by fromComfortable, cute, but stinky So I loved these shoes and bought them for backpacking around Asia. I really don't have stinky feet and have alot of shoes I wear without socks, but after a month, these sandals smell aweful--hands down worse than any shoes I've owned for years! The foot bed is soft (and very comfortable) and all sorts of dirt and junk gets imbedded. I've tried scrubbing it out, but no luck. I'm guessing that's a major culprit.

by fromComfortable and serviceable! I bought these for an upcoming trip to Costa Rica but I started wearing them already! They give good support and they were comfortable right away. Can't wait to try them in the water.

by fromWarning! Check this out first These shoes came in a timely fashion which I really appreciated, I own another pair and wanted a pair in black for a trip that I ll be doing a lot of walking and be wearing skirts etc. I ordered my usual size of 10 and I disregarded a comment about ordering a half size larger....bad move...yes they are different. This is what's changed...the toe...inside shoe the toe is thicker so that is why your toe will touch. Good news is that they sent it soon enough that I can reorder and get them in time before I go on trip to Latvia!

by fromMost comfortable sandals I've ever worn Have loved these sandals from the first moment I've put them on. Love all the different color options. Wear them all summer long. So comfortable and I get a lot of compliments from people. Except now - Just purchased my third pair of Keen Venice H2 sandal, size 7.5. First 2 pair fit perfectly and they were purchased in the past 10-12 years. This last sandal will have to be returned because the fit is different. Same size sandal as the other two, but I can hardly get my foot into the sandal without tugging and pulling and feels tighter once they are on my feet. Just ordered another pair half size larger. Hope the fit is better. I do get small stones in them, but all I do is lift up my foot to the side and pull down on the sandal and the stone usually falls out. With my first 2 pairs, the stretchy cord that tightens the fit, tends to get stretched out and doesn't hold my foot in the sandal as tightly. Have always wondered if there was some way this cord could be replaced. To me, these are only minor things that don't affect how much I love these sandals.

by fromGood hiking sandal This sandal got my 64-year-old self down to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and back out again, with feet intact. It is sturdy and comfortable, allows you to wade through streams and puddles, gives good ventilation, but fine for cooler weather if worn with socks. The only drawback? This is NOT fashion footwear! But hey -- on the trail, what counts is how the show WORKS. (PS - the tag, "senio" was a typo, but the program wouldn't let me delete it. So no, it does not mean, 'senile'!)

by fromGreat wandering and exploring sandals I love Keen's shoes. This is the second pair (of three I've purchased) and I will never go back to a different type of sandal. These shoes are excellent for extended periods of standing or walking, hiking, swimming (river activities, too) and a generally a great performance shoe for everything except beachwear - and even then only because the toes fill up with sand. If you don't mind that, they're fine, too.
