REI Members get back an estimated $ 4.00 on this item as part of their annual member refund.

    The REI Member Dividend

The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.

Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.

Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

by fromoverly hyped, not worth the price The sales guy highly recommended them, Superfeet heavily advertise in the outdoors type magazines. The price is high too, but I justified it due to 15 to 20 miles per day hikes. My boots were broken in, but the superfeet felt good at the store, but really hurt my feet on the trail. For this price, I bought a new pair of boots [...] instead and will never use SuperFeet again.

by fromNot for the heavy Wore these in Asolo mid-weight hiking boots for trek of Cotswold Way in summer, about 15 mi/day for 10 days. I weigh 185, pack added 20. While the support, esp for arch, is stellar, the constant pounding on what is actually nothing more than a plastic plate with a fabric skin became excruciating. Adding 3/4 length cush insoles helped but overfilled the boots. Beware if you are on the heavy side. Also can be painful if arch support is not PRECISELY where yours is. This came to feel like being barefoot on rocks.

by fromI've tried these over and over again but I've tried using Superfeet a few times because people just rave about them: I am always extremely disappointed each time I do. My only real complaint is that my feet "slide" around on them, thus I feel very unstable on them. No matter how tight I tie my shoes I always end up feeling like my foot is going to slide out from under me just by cornering to the left or right. Otherwise, they seem to offer great support. I use the insoles from SOLE instead (the Viesturs or the Karnazes) without any problems.

by fromSuck I explained to the salesman that I walk and stand 12 - 14 hours a day. I told him of my foot pain and that I'd been using the gel inserts but was looking for something better. He frowned when he heard I was using the gel product. He brought these out immediately and told me I'd be happy with them. I bought into it and boy was I sorry. I used them the next day and it was the longest, most miserable day of my life. By the end of the day, I had a bad limp because of the pain. These inserts have no cushioning and, for [$], I expected much more. They are a joke.

by frompainfull, not good for high arches I bought the "green" Superfeet out of desperation for hiking and walking and I had heard about these from many other hikers and my general doctor. First off the heel cup is too small *I even sized up*, the arch is too low and not long/forward enough. Also the lip of the arch hits me right in the soft spot of my heel arch pain. I also have the pink superfeet which are better but the arch support still isn't sufficient. After two years of plantar faciitis (and getting the run around from my HMO) I went to a sports podiatrist. He told me I had med-high arches and Superfeet are not even close to being supportive enough. I bought a pair of Sole brand insoles and they have awesome high arch support.

by fromWere these redesigned? I have been using the Superfeet Green insoles in my shoes for close to twenty years, and have always been happy with them. So I naturally bought a new pair with my latest hiking shoes. My first long hike with them (35 miles/3 days), after breaking in the shoes, and they killed my arches. It was so painful, I had to hike in my camp shoes part of the last day. I will be looking for something else now.

by fromNot worth the money (or the hype) Maybe I expected too much, but I was hiking 30 miles over 3 days in broken in hiking boots that needed just a little something more - & this was not it.
