by fromSurprised at the positive reviews I chose the model with black frames with the blue polarized lenses. I'm using them mainly for driving and also for softball, cycling, and hiking. I bought these because they are more fashionable than your typical sunglasses with interchangeable lenses. I also liked the warranty. Unfortunately they have not met my expectations. The first problem is they fog up all the time. Especially if I am sweaty. I have lots of problems while driving when the weather is cool. Usually warming them up helps, but sometimes it doesn't. I'm very surprised to see others describe these as durable. That has not been my experience. Not even close. Mine have lost one nose piece and one of the rubber bridge pieces. A bit of super glue will reattach them, but it is still a hassle. Also I'm on my third pair of lenses. They scratch way too easily. In one case I had them in my bag for not even 10 minutes and they were so badly scratched that you could not see through them. Definitely store them in the case at all times when not in use.

by fromLenses are worthless I've never paid so much for such an inferior product. Comfortable and protective...yes. It's too bad the lenses can't stay clear for more than a few weeks. I'd never heard of this company when I found these glasses at REI. I assumed that they were of quality being that I found them at REI. Boy was I wrong. I thought that I may had introduced some harmful chemicals, maybe hardwater?, to the (reflex) lenses after they went bad after a few weeks. I then let them sit in the closet for 6 months...wearing them occasionaly under low light/fog conditions with the other lenses. Eventually, I then decided to purchase the charcoal (reflex) lenses. They also lasted me about about 3 weeks of clear vision. I take care of my glasses, (always cased when not used, always kept clean) and I honestly feel duped for every taking a chance on this company. I didn't take advantage of the warranty, but if you feel the need to spend high dollar on sunglasses worth about five bucks...DO IT! You'll need that warranty, but plan to spend 6 times that worth every time they need to be replaced.

by fromOK on discount Picked up a pair on closeout for next to nothing. I had lost my pair of Rudy's after 5 years of faithful survice and needed some quick shades. Didn't last more than two months before they were so badly scratched I would rather deal with the glaring sun than keep them on. I would never pay full price for these and I will never buy Native again.

by frombest fitting sunglasses I've ever owned The most comfortable fitting glasses I've ever owned. After a short time of use, the lenses were severely scratched in the factory soft case. I bought replacement lenses and it quickly happened again. I've owned a handful of quality sunglasses in my life, and I've always treated them with respect. I've never been so dissapointed. I literally threw the frames in the trash to ensure that I wouldn't be enticed to replace the lenses again...the lenses are absolute trash.

by fromIf you have to buy it, buy at REI I regret buying these expensive, flimsey glasses. I have broken 3 pairs wearing under helmet (no falls). The Native lifetime warranty is a fallacy- they charge a fee that is far in excess of the manufacturing cost and the replacements they sent were seconds (paint smeared and frame twisted) Native would not respond to complaints. Regrettably, I did not buy from REI, otherwise, I would have returned them to REI.

by fromNever again This is the first, and LAST pair of Native's I'll own. They are comfortable, and the fit is good for me.My set came with Silver Reflex and the sportflex lenses. The silver ones fit fine, and ONE of the sportflex lenses fit, but one sportflex lens was 2mm longer than the other. Impossible to fit in the frame. Took it back to the store and they exchanged them. Then, as everyone states, the lenses are easily scratched. I dropped my glasses on the floor and the right lens scratched directly in my line of sight. Since it was my fault, I sent them to Native to replace for $30. Got my replacements back in a couple of weeks and they were the wrong color! Now they want me to send THESE back and they'll send out the correct ones next time. Yeah... right.I'm chalking this one up as a learning experience. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

by fromTREAD CAREFULLY WARRANTY SERVICE SUSPECT Although stylish, BEWARE. Problems with lens retention plagued my ownership of these glasses.Although I NEVER attempted to swap lenses, lens repeatedly fell out during normal use, and without contributing event. Native refused to cover replacements under warranty, despite customer service representative admission that frames were in fact faulty, and they were aware of the problem.
