Comments about Topeak Deluxe Kit:
Just got the kit! Everything looks good! Wondering how to attach the pump to my bike...doesn't look like I'm missing any parts...but I can't figure this one out?

Comments about Topeak Deluxe Kit:
Great kit for anyone who is either getting into the sport (my first kit) or for the avid cyclist who needs all the essentials in one package. I've used all these pieces for two years and nothing has gone wrong while using any of the included items.

Very nice quality kit. I was just looking for a pump to keep on my bike but saw the kit for only a few dollars more. Glad I got it as I've used the multi tool several times already.

I was exited when I read the reviews and first got this item but on my second ride to work I lost the pump. It was installed properly but the Los Angeles street are not in good condition enough for the pump to remain on the bracket.
Also, only 6 patches in the box...

Comments about Topeak Deluxe Kit:
It is a fairly good pump with the normal drawbacks of a small pump(I don't think you can make a 6 inch pump that will fill a tire to 60 psi in ten pumps). The only thing I thought they could have done better is make the rubber cap stick in the pump hole better, mine never stays in. The tube repair kit included is of good quality and the tool included in the kit does fine as I personally prefer the lack of a stop on it.

Nice kit and pump that bolts onto the bike.
Regarding the adapter, its not obvious that there is an adapter included in the pump head, but there is. You may have to pry with a pair of plyers, but the black adapter is there inside the head if you need to take it and reverse it. It is snug so looks like it is part of the pump, but is in fact the adapter.

Comments about Topeak Deluxe Kit:
Just wanted to update what I wrote earlier: while the multi-tool does not have a stop, I've actually found this to be an asset when working in tight spaces, especially doing on-the-go repairs. It's not great for doing at home repairs that require proper driving of screws, etc., but hey, when I'm at home I've got plenty of tools to choose from.
My only real complaint now is that there are some tools I wish the multi-tool had, like torx wrenches or open end wrenches. For example, I saw some woman trying to load her son's bike into her trunk and it wasn't fitting. I pulled over to offer some help, thinking I could help her take the front wheel off to get it in the car, but I needed an open end wrench...
Overall, I still recommend this, especially for beginners who want to get some basic tools for fixing on-the-go repairs (really a must if you are riding often and don't want to get stranded!).

Just want to clarify what reviewer "Nicholas Chan" wrote is incorrect - this pump DOES contain a presta valve converter and it is cleverly stored inside the pump nozzle. You just have to unscrew the top and flip a plastic component around and you are all set. Takes 30 seconds to convert from presta to schrader.
My only complaint about this tool kit is the multi-tool does not have a "stop" (that is, it doesn't lock in an open position, but swings freely relative to the handle), so you have to be careful to hold each tool steady for proper use. Not a big deal, but definitely best for on-the-go repairs rather than in the garage, where you would want a proper hex key for example.

Have used this pump twice; once in the shop and once on the trail. Worked great and flawlessly. Attaches easily and securely to valve stem. The pump mount afixes under bottle holder to the side so the pump is out of the way of your water bottle (good engineering!). Velcro fastner secures pump excellently.

Comments about Topeak Deluxe Kit:
The first thing I noticed that the well priced package didn't have was a converter for Presta Valves. However, buying a converter from your local shop isn't expensive, maybe even less than a dollar. Also, while pumping you need to make sure that the rubber neck completely covers your valve, or else there will be leaks. Aside from that, a good buy!
