Comments about Topeak Road Morph Pump with Gauge:
I average around 200 miles a week of riding, so flats happen no matter how good your tires or how careful you are. I was frustrated with smaller pumps because they wouldn't come up to full pressure, no matter what they claimed, and as a result I often suffered pinch flats later in the same ride. I tried to solve that with CO2 canisters, but was tired of throwing the empties out. The Topeak Morph has solved my problem. Be aware that the pump is a bit larger than the average, I was able to mount mine under the down tube since the frame on my bike is drilled for electronic shifters, and I won't go electronic for a while...

Comments about Topeak Road Morph Pump with Gauge:
I'm a new cyclist buying my first equipment and I could not figure out how to make this pump work when I first got it. It comes with no instructions, so I did not realize I had to change out the part that snaps on to your tube so it would fit. Luckily I was able to go back inside the store and get help since I had to try it right away. I like how easily it strapped to the bike, how easy it is to pull out and use, and the peace of mind of having it with me.

Comments about Topeak Road Morph Pump with Gauge:
I only ride about 100 mi. a week but I get a lot of puncture flats. Sometimes two flats on each ride. I start my rides in the dark and its no fun fixing a flat under a dim street light or removing my bike light. This pump makes it easy to inflate because you don't have to hold the pump against the valve and wheel. You can use two hands to pump as the hose end clamps on the valve securely. The only problem I have with this pump is that the gauge is not only hard to read but jumps ten PSI at a time. Nothing in between. Its also hard to press down on the ground fold out part with road shoes on. It tends to slip out from under the shoe. Other frame pumps will only get up to between 90-100psi. This pump gets me up to the required 120psi. I've found that from experience I can determine the pressure by either pushing down on the tire or bouncing it a couple of times All in all, a pretty good frame pump.

Comments about Topeak Road Morph Pump with Gauge:
The handle is wide for the center of the bike frame. If you want to lose your water bottle holder ok. I did'nt want that so I mounted it on my left rear fork frame. It works great there. I wear a size 13 and use ortlieb saddle bags no touch or wear. I put my pump in a plastic bag to protect it from everything. It works great.

Comments about Topeak Road Morph Pump with Gauge:
Having the flexible tube between the valve head and the pump body is *such* a huge feature - no more worrying about tearing your tube around your valve stem while you try to jam 90psi into your tire with that tiny little 6" thing that's in over its head for anything past 50psi. In addition, having the little foot lever to step on while you pump adds a surprising amount of stability.Overall, I think it's a very well thought out little pump. It is a bit on the bulky side but totally worth it - you do have to think about where you mount it if you have baggy (i.e. "not spandex") shorts/pants that can get caught on it. The psi gauge isn't perfect, but it's good enough, especially if you have a feel for how a full tire feels when you squeeze it with your hand. And yes, I'm pretty sure the valve head is *supposed* to be velcro-ed with the pump body, so of course it'll fall out if you just leave it in the clip.I'm on my 2nd one now - 1st was strapped onto my old bike when it got stolen - and one thing I like better about the older model is that the handle would flip up past 90 degrees which gave a more comfortable grip. Isn't quite as nice with the 90 deg angle.Great for tours and for having handy when your floor pump at home [*] out.

Comments about Topeak Road Morph Pump with Gauge:
I am stunned by the positive reviews it gets! I put up with this thing for five years - the handle that pinched my hand, the short tube that wore me out, and the nasty bracket that is always in the way. I complained about it one day when I was buying tubes. The salesman showed me a real frame pump and told me to try it. I did and four months and several flats later I am glad I took his advice and got rid of this pump. Oh! I figured out it was not getting a flat that I dreaded, it was using this pump!

Comments about Topeak Road Morph Pump with Gauge:
I have had my pump for about 7 years and have used it to pump my tires, as well as the tires of many other unfortunate fellow cyclists, with flats on the road. On club rides everyone wants to use my pump instead of their own. I also have the mountain bike version for my MTB. I have not found any other pumps that can get to 90-100 PSI this easily. I wish the pump handle and foot anchor were a little larger and that the hose was a little longer, but perhaps that would compromise the compact design. This pump has and continues to serve me well- I never leave home without it.

I love this little pump, I keep it mounted on my bike and have used it frequently. Easy to use, and can be used like a mini floor pump. I am very glad I bought this little tool- I love being able to see the PSI as well.

I take this pump with me every day when I commute to work (20 miles) and for every long ride. Its a frame pump - so yeah its big - its supposed to be. It takes less pumps that way. The connection flexes so you can set the pump on the ground and hold it with your foot (there is a flap that comes down). People also complain about the gauge, but mine is fairly accurate (+/- 10psi), and VERY useful. I have mine attached to my top tube, just right. It doesn't come loose or get in the way. I still have two water bottle holders - but it took fine tuning.
Doesn't fit into a jersey pocket, so if its not on your frame, you have to throw it in a bag.
I discovered this gem when a stranger stopped to help my friend and I change her flat tire. She had a CO2 pump that misfired the first cylinder and the patch blew on the second. My pump was extremely small and extremely awkward - plus we learned it doesn't go as high as 120 psi.

Comments about Topeak Road Morph Pump with Gauge:
First frame mounted pump I owned was in 1971. Can't remember the name, but it was an amazing pump, until it fell off the bike and was smashed by an 18-wheeler.
Didn't own another one until I saw this one at REI, read some reviews, and bolted it to the bike 3 years ago. I ride touring tires for commuting that don't get many flats (Vitorria Randoneurs, Schwalbe Marathons, and now Michilen City) so I don't have many occasions to use this pump, as I air up at home with the electric air compressor.
But, now I live and commute in Alaska, and the compressor is down in the lower 48 for a while, so I'm living with the Road Morph as the only pump to top off the tires. Matter of fact, had to replace both tires last week (with the Citys from REI), and pumped up both front and rear with only two or three beads of sweat. 700-32's running at 90 psi.
Bolt it to your seat tube, and that will eliminate the pump handle and fill tube from jiggling loose. The mount has an offset so you can still keep a water bottle cage bolted on with the pump.
