The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Rated4out of5bydarkwoodfromPretty Good!Very good. It tasted a lot like the Hamburger Helper stuff. It wasn't bad at all, it was pretty cheap and easy only took about 15 or 20 minutes. Not bad!

Rated4out of5bypugmanfromEven makes a good homeI prepared this for my wife and I at home. After a long week of work, I told her I would "cook" a meal.
First the portion size was perfect for us. My wife is a light eater and I'm in the middle - so with her getting a portion it left about one and half portions for myself. With a little French bread it was perfect for a helping.
Definitely, let this sit the full 9 minutes as listed on the bag.
Ease of prep? Boil two cups of water, dump in the bag, mix and let sit. It couldn't get much easier other than eating it raw.
Taste? Not bad/actually pretty good. I wished it had more mushrooms and it doesn't have the thickness and full flavor of true home cookin' but we kept looking at each other across the table with a grin. I would definitely take this backpacking/camping if you wanted home cookin without the home.
Now to try the Lasagna

Rated5out of5byHermit of the PlainsfromTasty with a few spicesThis can be said of all freeze dried food, but this one had a little more flavor to it than most. Just needed a little pepper and Italian seasoning to take it from 'alright' to 'pretty good' considering. Definitely do the full 2 cups and sit for 10 minutes. You'll want a little snack as well if you split it with someone. This is also an excellent first meal to have somebody try who have never had freeze dried food.

Rated5out of5bywaywordfromAMAZING Stuff! This was a great meal to have on our weekend backpacking trip in the Great Smokey's Mountains. My group that went hiking went at the end of October when it was pretty cold so the warm meal at the end of a long day of hiking was great. It's was easy to prepare, cook time was not very long and the best part is that it tasted amazing. I was a skeptic at first about all prepacked and cooked food for hikers and now I am a user for life. Love it!!

Rated5out of5byMountainman SamfromLove this stuffYet another great product by mountain house. This is very tasty and gives you a good calorie boost. I always go with the rule of thumb while backpacking of 100cal per 1oz in the pack and these fall right in there. In addition, you're probably going to want to bring one pack per person rather than going with the suggested number of servings per container unless you're subsidizing it with some high calorie snacks too. It tastes very good though you may want to throw in a bit of garlic powder to give it a bit of kick for your taste buds. I've found that most of these meals don't need quite the full 2 cups of water to prepare it but it also needs a bit more time then the 10min suggested in order for the meat to fully hydrate. Also, like I've said in some other reviews, when eating dehydrated food you're going to want to drink more water after words to avoid tummy grumbles. Over all a great product and one of my favorites.
