The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.
Rated4out of5bydonnerchicafromConvenient, full stoveThis is a great stove and I got this one because I grew up using one just like it. I love that I can refill a gas canister at any gas station and I don't need to find a special kind of fuel.
Lighting the second burner made the overall stove less powerful, which makes heating multiple things difficult. Overall, it was great and has worked really well.

The one i have now is 15 years old and still looks and works well. Be good to your equipment and it will deliver! period. Propane is fun [i tried those too] but in an emergency situation....you got it. This is it. A portable Kitchen.

Rated5out of5byCamping is FunfromGreat Stove in not so Great ConditionsThis is a great compact stove for car camping. We camped in wet, rainy conditions and made breakfast each morning (eggs, bacon, pancakes and COFFEE). Lighting a fire was not an option each morning so we had no choice but to fire up the Coleman. The wind flaps are a little flimsy but they worked! We were able to get two frying pans on the stove and I was able to control the heat easily to cook everything without burning it. EASY to light even with dripping rain and some wind. I recommend this stove, it cooked everything well and quickly in less than ideal conditions!

Rated5out of5byJetsonRINGfromAwesome, no complaints, just buy it.I have had a Coleman fuel 2-burner stove for about 40 years now and except for having to replace the generator (once) about 30 years ago and the pump kit (once) about ten years ago this stove has been extremely, INCREDIBLY reliable and easy to use. I have never has ANY trouble getting it to light off and anyone who says anything negative about this stove is doing something wrong. My stove is old, dented, rusty, dusty, heavy and bulky but never fails me when the hurricanes come through and the electricity goes away. Two burners are great when cooking for groups. I also have a Coleman fuel lantern, also 40 years old. I just can't justify getting a new one until the old one dies. I'll probably die first. Just buy it.

Rated4out of5byevenStevenGfromGreat StoveDependable, efficient, clean - what more can you ask for from a camping stove. You can cook anything on this stove!
Ignore the negative comments. It is very easy to light provided you read the simple directions and use Coleman fuel. These stoves are the gold standard for car campers and have been for generations.
Do yourself a favor and give it a dry run cooking at home to learn the ropes before you get out in the woods.

Rated5out of5byTonyzskifromCan't beat a classicThis stove is pretty much the same as the one I used as a Boy Scout 35 years ago.
Designed for family/car/base camp style camping, don't plan on using this for backpacking. I found this stove to be very reliable, easy to use and more economical than the similar propane model. Worth every penny!

Rated4out of5bytelemarkgfromtried and true stoveIt doesn't have the bells and whistles of some other stoves (like an igniter) and is bulkier and heavier too (mostly because of the liquid fuel bottle) but it is durable and built to last. And parts are readily available.

Rated4out of5byrunslowfromMade in USA!I first starting using this kind of stove in the early 80 with my Father. They can be a bit problematic to get started, but once they get warmed up they are about the best stove for general car camping that I've found. No more wondering if the propane tank is full, and no more wasted propane tanks. As a bonus, try to find another product at REI that is made in the USA. This is a great stove. Completely rebuildable and serviceable.
