Pocahontas is a great destination in many ways: it is an extremely pretty campground set in a forest of giant white pine beside a valley stream; it is little used, inexpensive, and has quiet, yet well-maintained, mountain biking and hiking trails leaving directly from the campground. Pocahontas is often overlooked because of other nearby recreation sites. Mountain bikers will be especially pleased with this place.
