Cranberry Campground
Cranberry Campground lies in a valley at the confluence of Mill Branch and the Cranberry River. This flat was once settled and farmed by early pioneers before West Virginia was a state. The area retains some pastoral character, yet is surrounded by wild wooded mountains. Just a walk away is the Cranberry Backcountry, a good setting for hiking, biking, and fishing. When you’re done exploring the Cranberry Backcountry you can return to this quiet little valley campground. And if you’re lucky you’ll return to one of the two walk-in tent campsites or any other campsite for that matter. Cranberry fills nearly every summer weekend.
