Ranger Creek is simply da-bomb. A relentless no-rest-for-the-weary ascent; porcelain-smooth, supermodel-slim singletrack cut into savagely steep fall lines; intimate views of Mount Rainier; vicious switchbacks that strike fear into the hearts of mere mortals; glacier-fed creeks; a 30-plus mile per hour shot through an old-growth forest of fir, pine, hemlock and cedar; banked turns; and drops and dips make Ranger Creek one of the most explosive rides in Washington—never mind the entire Puget Sound area. Trail surface: Gravel forest service roads, smooth hard-packed singletrack, and a short paved section at the end of the ride.
