Mount Timpanogos Trails
From Timpooneke Trailhead we set off for a long day hike in the Mount Timpanogos Wilderness. In June the flowers and aspen trees at the middle elevations were in their prime, but Mount Timpanogos’ snowy head was still releasing avalanches. Far below were the aquamarine swimming pools of the well-to-do. We were in the wilderness, but right next door to a mountain community and Robert Redford’s Sundance ski resort.
