An enjoyable day hike to three huge natural sandstone bridges, involving easy walking and no unusual hazards. You'll also see Ancestral Puebloan ruins, pictographs and petroglyphs, a wide range of vegetation types, and spectacular cliff and canyon scenery. The Bridges Loop is a superb day trip suitable for experienced hikers and reasonably active families. The trail follows White Canyon and Armstrong Canyon past three natural bridges and several Ancestral Puebloan ruins. The only appreciable elevation change involves climbing into and out of the canyons; these stretches are steep but short.
