Piney Campground
Three-hundred-eighty-four can be a scary number. At least when you are talking about the number of campsites in a campground. This usually spells an overcrowded city of RVs, with congestion, mayhem and all the things from which you are trying to get away. Piney, however, defies these expectations. This getaway on the south side of Land Between the Lakes has two loops catering to tent campers and a third loop that offers a good electrical option. The campground is well run. Add in the recreation opportunities—boating, hiking, fishing, and historical study— and you have a quality destination that tent campers can enjoy.
