Willamette Mission State Park - Eola Hills Cruise
This challenging loop tour combines some of the best touring the Willamette Valley has to offer. You’ll ride along the scenic Willamette River in the historic Willamette Mission State Park; take a fun ride on the Wheatland Ferry; tour the pastoral setting of Grand Island; then get a great workout when you pedal through the scenic Eola Hills outside of Salem, where you’ll have the opportunity to stop at the Strangeland Winery. Terrain: This route follows Highway 221 for 5.2 miles, the Lafayette Highway for 1.3 miles, and the Bellview-Hopewell Highway for 3.8 miles. The rest of the route follows rural roads. None of the roads on this route has a shoulder.
