Tallman Mountain Hudson River Overlook Trail
Stellar views and prime, private picnic spots don?t come any easier than this level walk to a high overlook of the Hudson River. Birding and boatwatching are extra attractions, as is the possibility of an extended campaign along a piece of the Long Path, which intersects the trail. Scenery: Dense deciduous forest growing on rocky slopes overlooking west bank of the Hudson River and Piermont Marsh grasslands.
