Table Rock Lower Loop
Northeast Boise foothills. Despite its proximity to downtown and its popularity with locals and tourists, this is one of the premier rides in the Boise Front. The rocky ruggedness of the terrain combines with crows nest views of the Boise Valley and the city itself to make this little ride seem big in some ways. Great picnic and rock climbing potential along the way. The Old Penitentiary, administered by the Idaho State Historical Society, is a wonderful place to investigate. Tours and info available year-round, across the street from the guard house.
