Cartwright - Dry Creek Loop
Boise, ID

Cartwright - Dry Creek Loop
Foothills northwest of Boise. The middle reaches of the Dry Creek drainages, paradoxically, are sub-irrigated, and provide welcome verdure, even through midsummer. Traffic is generally very light, and the roads are well maintained. A couple of serious hills are enough to make you appreciate the flats. Although you begin and end in the city, this ride is rural.
