Cape Horn - Three Sisters
Coeur d Alene, ID

Cape Horn - Three Sisters
About midway between Coeur d'Alene and Sandpoint, Idaho. This trail is one leg of an epic ride that follows an undulating spine between Blacktail Mountain to the north and Cape Horn Peak to the south. The spine itself, a part of the Selkirk Mountains, towers 2,500 feet over Lake Pend Oreille, and provides numerous vistas of the lake just east and the Purcell Trench just west. This ride may be integrated with sections of the Cocolalla-Butler Creek Loop and Careywood Road for a full-day, 40-mile loop. The trail has 0.4 miles pavement, 9.9 miles forest road, and 3.4 miles singletrack.
