Beauty Creek - Caribou Ridge
About ten miles SE of Coeur d'Alene, between Beauty Bay and Mount Coeur d'Alene. The first three miles of Caribou Ridge Trail, are some of the sweetest singletrack you'll find in the entire region. The trail is also a designated National Recreation Trail. Views from the Mount Coeur d'Alene picnic site and from the Caribou Ridge overlook are impressive. Most of the climb included in this ride is at a benign gradient, following Beauty Creek itself, or contours a shady forest road. The trail has 4.5 miles singletrack, 2.3 miles doubletrack/dirt road, and 6.3 miles pavement.
