High Shoals Scenic Area and Falls Trail

On this hike you visit two impressive and picturesque waterfalls on a downhill trail. The first waterfall, at 1.0 mile, is called Blue Hole. Another 0.3 mile downstream is 100-foot-high Shoals Falls, with an observation deck. In this walk you lose 480 feet in elevation, with only one relatively steep descent or climb.
