Woodland Lake, Lost Lake, and Skyscraper Reservoir Trail
You have a choice of three lovely lakes on this hike and your dog will love all three. The first lake—Lost Lake—is an easy jaunt from the trailhead. Woodland Lake is farther up the Jasper Creek drainage and over some steep climbs into a lovely valley. Skyscraper Reservoir is at the very top, up another shelf and into the cirque below the Continental Divide. In addition to the awe-inspiring vistas for you and the opportunity for several refreshing dunks for your dog, the trail itself is a pleasure. You and your dog can hike side by side along several broad segments, and at times the ground is not only soft but downright boggy—easy on canine paws.
