Wigwam Park
Spanning the Kenosha and Tarryall mountains, the 120,000-acre Lost Creek Wilderness Area encompasses an interesting mix of forests, open meadows, creek bottoms, and alpine ridges. Because of its size and the fact that no 14,000-foot peaks are found within its boundaries, this wilderness offers a considerable amount of solitude throughout. One seldom-used route—the Wigwam Trail—follows the area’s namesake creek east for a couple miles before continuing on to beautiful Wigwam Park, one of several natural parks found within the Lost Creek Wilderness.
