White Ranch Park Trail
Just northwest of Golden, White Ranch Park offers 18 miles of multiuse trails, many of which connect to form a variety of loops. The large ranch is home to several species of wildlife including elk, deer, mountain lions, bears, wild turkeys, and bobcats. This eastern-facing area is ideal for early morning hikes that come standard with great wildlife viewing and fantabulous sunrises. As with most Front Range hikes, White Ranch affords expansive views of some of the state’s best vistas of the eastern plains.
