White Ranch: Belcher Hill Trail
This most challenging and rocky of the ranch trails offers a great workout and excellent views of the buttes, mountains, plains, and canyon. It starts in a suburban setting that is distracting for the first couple of miles but then opens up to the magic panorama of these high foothills. You can access easier trails along the way (Whippletree, Longhorn, Maverick, and Sawmill) and make the trek much easier and shorter if you wish. It is popular with very fit mountain bikers and is as wide as the former ranch road it once was.
