West Creek Falls
Spring is the best time to visit this waterfall in a remote corner of Rocky Mountain National Park. The West Creek Falls hike begins at the historic McGraw Ranch which is currently being rehabilitated to become a new research facility for the National Park Service. It will be closed to the general public. Parking at the trailhead is very limited, and at times, the Park Service will post a message on the entrance road designating the lot as full. No Park entrance fee is required. The area receives relatively little snowfall, and this route should be open from April through November. The falls themselves have a quiet, remote feel to them.
