Walden Ponds Wildlife Area
A wonderful family hike around several ponds, with spectacular views of the Indian Peaks. The boardwalk along Cottonwood Marsh has several interpretive signs and is a great place to bring the kids for an educational hike. Walden Ponds is also a stopover for migratory birds and offers a great opportunity to view waterfowl, songbirds, and various mammals.
