Upper Beaver Meadows Trailhead: Ute Meadows Loop
The Upper Beaver Meadows loop is a nice hike in its own right, but when you add the spur to the Ute Meadows Campsite it makes it that much more interesting. The Beaver Meadows portion is mostly arid, with sweeping views of the heart of Rocky Mountain National Park. The trek to the Ute Meadows Campsite is an uphill hike and quite a challenge with backpacking gear. The campsite is llama accessible, so this may be your chance to have someone, or something else, pack it in. Outstanding Features: Meadow, forest, wildlife, stream, views of Longs Peak and Deer Mountain
