Twin Lakes
This short trail leads to a pair of pretty alpine lakes set beneath crags of red sandstone that belong to the Maroon formation. Because the road leading to Pearl Pass is so rough, the lakes receive few visitors. For a longer trip, experienced hikers can attempt the abandoned route that leads westward from the lakes to cross two passes and enter the upper reaches of Conundrum Creek.
