Three Mile Creek
Three Mile Creek Trail in the Mount Evans Wilderness Area features more than 100 kinds of wildflowers along the way. Always within sound of rushing water, the trail travels in a northeasterly direction, steadily gaining elevation. Three miles and 1,700 feet up a creek-accompanied trail, a colorful meadow signals arrival at Three Mile Meadow. Wildflower alert: A “century” trail with more than 100 wildflower species at peak bloom, highlighted by fabulously fragrant shy wood nymph.
