The Colorado Trail: Saguache Park Road to Eddiesville Trailhead
The CT follows a jeep/ranch road through arid cattle-grazing country until reaching Cochetopa Creek, the only reliable water source in this segment. The CT then follows the creek to the Eddiesville Trailhead. Hikers no longer have to ford the Cochetopa, a log bridge was added in the late summer of 2004 — a long-desired improvement for the CT.
