Enjoy the impressive mountain backdrop of Comanche Peak and Fall Mountain as you traverse and then climb above the valley, gradually making your way above treeline. The trail has very rocky sections and can be wet in the early spring. The stark beauty of the burn area dominates the start, but then healthy lodgepole pine, fir, and spruce trees grace the trail.
