St. Vrain Mountain Trail
This is one of the best hikes in the Indian Peaks Wilderness. The views out to the Wild Basin area of Rocky Mountain National Park, Longs Peak, and the Indian Peaks are nothing short of spectacular and make this a must-do hike in the Indian Peaks. The lower section of the trail follows along a wildly flowing creek and has some of the best wildflowers in the Indian Peaks. Trail conditions: The trail becomes narrow and rocky the higher you climb. Expect snow on the upper section of the trail well into June.
