South Valley Park: Coyote Song Trail
A pretty foothills area that includes the hogback and the usual striking rock formations, South Valley Park is great for hiking or biking. Part of the trail system is for hikers only, while the rest is open to bikers too. Coyote Song Trail is a great, perhaps the best, option in the park. Farthest from the road, it weaves through the beautiful rock formations and low foothills. The trail has more of an uphill start from the parking lot at the south entrance off of Deer Creek Canyon Road, more downhill from the north.
