South Texas Creek
A backpack over a wilderness route to Texas Creek. This trail provides a scenic and less strenuous route from Cottonwood Pass Road to Texas Creek. The trail receives only rudimentary maintenance and disappears entirely for long stretches in the upper basin of South Texas Creek. Nonetheless, for hikers with good cross-country navigation skills, this route is one of the most rewarding ways to reach the Texas Creek valley.
