South Rim Loop Trail
Less than an hour’s drive from Denver, Roxborough State Park offers visitors a look at more than 1.7 billion years of geologic time spread across a variety of natural habitats. Mule deer, coyotes, and squirrels are common sights here, and bobcat and elk make occasional appearances. Watchful visitors can sometimes see a golden eagle circling overhead.
