Soderberg / Horsetooth Falls
Fort Collins, CO

Soderberg / Horsetooth Falls
Tucked into 2,100 acres just west of Fort Collins and the huge Horsetooth Reservoir, the Soderberg/Horsetooth Falls Loop winds through rugged, forested granite canyons, rounded wildflower-spattered ridges and open grasslands. A wispy waterfall and its attendant riparian habitat sweeten the hike. Along this diverse trail, in late May and early June an abundance of wildflowers is found, notably the royal wild iris.
