Shadow Pine Loop—Flying J Ranch Park
Flying J Ranch Park is a great place for a family outing. With nice picnic gazebos and easy trails, everyone from the youngest child to grandparents can enjoy a day in the mountains. Foothills zone meets montane zone here, and a riparian area borders a little stream. The variety of trees and flowers offers opportunities for ecological education. The park provides habitat for deer and elk, so keep an eye out for these ungulates.
