Rock Creek Trail
This is an adventurous hike up the steep slopes along beautiful Rock Creek. Wildflowers are abundant during the summer months, and Ski Road is great for ski touring or snowshoeing in the winter. Once you reach the junction with the St. Vrain Mountain Trail, the views out to the Wild Basin area of Rocky Mountain National Park, Longs Peak, and the Indian Peaks are nothing short of spectacular. Trail conditions: The lower section of the trail follows a four-wheel-drive road. The upper section of the trail along Rock Creek is hard to follow and all but disappears near the intersection with the St. Vrain Mountain Trail.
