Redcloud and Sunshine Peaks
Although they barely top the 14,000-foot level, the neighboring summits of Redcloud and Sunshine make for one incredibly fun hike. Not only will you enjoy memorable views from these peaks, but you can savor the fact that you have bagged two of Colorado’s elite corps of mountains as well. Following the Silver Creek Trail, this hike falls within the 37,442-acre Redcloud Peak Wilderness Study Area, which is administered by the BLM.
