Pella Crossing Trail
Hygiene, CO

Pella Crossing Trail
This delightful collection of peaceful, small lakes is circled by wide, flat, short trails ideal for easy-going strolls near Boulder. Circumnavigate Sunset and Webster Ponds, or Heron Lake on the Braly Trails on the eastern side of the park, or the smaller Poplar, Dragonfly, and Clearwater Ponds on the Marlatt Trails on the western side of the park—or perhaps connect the two for a longer outing. Both feature waterfowl, dragonflies, deer, foxes, and butterflies. Longs Peak peers over the top of the west side, while the distant foothills highlight the views of the east side ponds and even almost reflect in the still waters. Belly boat fishing is allowed.
