North Cheyenne Canyon
Encompassing 1600 acres within its deep and scenic namesake, North Cheyenne Cañon Park is traversed by the 4-mile Columbine Trail. Because this route explores both the canyon’s bottom and its upper slopes, it offers hikers a comprehensive introduction to the drainage’s varied ecosystems. Whereas a shuttle will facilitate hiking the entire route, segments of the trail can be explored from each of its three trailheads. This hike follows the entire route from bottom to top.
