Nighthawk Trail—Hall Ranch
This long hike climbs to the old Nelson Ranch in Antelope Park, where Native Americans lived and hunted. The trail winds through beautiful valleys, grasslands, and forest. Rock ridges rise like ships’ prows, one higher than the other. Peace and quiet take you away from the hustle and bustle of nearby cities. Most of the hike is open to hikers and equestrians only. As you enter Antelope Park, a stunning view of Longs Peak and Mount Meeker appears. Hall Ranch provides critical wildlife habitat, so keep your eyes and ears open for the wild residents.
