Navajo Lake
It is easy to understand why Navajo Lake is perhaps the most popular destination in the Lizard Head Wilderness. Not only is the lake situated in a beautiful alpine basin, but it also offers a handy base camp for climbers intent on climbing the nearby Fourteeners of El Diente, Mount Wilson, and Wilson Peak. Because of heavy use, a fire ban has been put into effect in the Navajo Lake Basin.
