Mummy Pass Trail
This is the most spectacular option in the area other than climbing Comanche Peak. It evolves into an open climb above treeline on tundra up a mountainside, offering splendid views of Pingree Park’s superb surroundings of summits, rivers, trees, and wetlands. This awe-inspiring perch lets you see the soaring granite cirque that is part of the Comanche Peak massif and cradles Emmaline Lake. The access point for this trail that goes into RMNP, is the same as the Emmaline Lake Trail. In terms of difficulty and elevation gain, it is longer and involves slightly more elevation gain.
