Mounts Democrat, Lincoln, and Bross
Hiking to the top of three of Colorado’s elite “Fourteeners” in one day seems like a major undertaking, suitable only for a seasoned mountaineer. The summits of this lofty trio, however, are close enough to one another so that a hiker of average strength and ability can do just that. Linked together by relatively straightforward ridge walks, Mount Democrat, Mount Lincoln, and Mount Bross are the crowning jewels of the Mosquito Range, which rises between the towns of Fairplay and Leadville.
