Mount Goliath Natural Area
This short and mostly easy hike accesses one of the more interesting ecological features of the Colorado Rockies: an extensive forest of bristlecone pine. Given this forest’s uniqueness, it is now the centerpiece of the 1-square-mile Mount Goliath Research Natural Area.
